Grounded is a garden design practice based in Norwich, with current projects across Norfolk, Suffolk and London.

Led by an RHS-qualified horticulturalist, with a distinction in garden design from the British Academy of Garden Design, the work focuses on creating gardens that are thoughtfully designed, well-built, and made to be enjoyed.

Each project is approached as a working landscape that balances structure, planting and material to create spaces that feel calm and resolved, with moments of subtle character and controlled individuality.

GROUNDED works with clients looking to make better use of their outdoor space... whether that means reworking an existing garden or starting again. The starting point is always the same: understanding how the space is used, what it needs to do, and what will realistically work over time.

Designs bring together layout, materials and planting into a clear, buildable scheme. The aim is to create gardens that feel settled and coherent rather than overworked or disparate, private and public spaces that hold together as a whole.

Work ranges from planting-led improvements through to full redesigns, with a long-term aim of delivering both design and build. Materials and planting are chosen carefully, with an emphasis on durability, appropriateness and ecological awareness.
